T12 Distillery @ The Foundry is the first public home of the T12 brand.
Located in Historic Valley Junction, the space introduces visitors to a distillery built around craftsmanship, curiosity, and community. Through thoughtfully crafted cocktails, small-batch spirits, and memorable experiences, T12 offers a place where people can gather, connect, and enjoy something a little different.
While the spirits are important, T12 has always been about more than what’s in the glass.
Founded by Scott Turczynski, T12 was born from an engineer’s mindset: respect the process, focus on quality, and build things that last. That philosophy shapes everything from the spirits themselves to the experiences created around them.
The name T12 comes from the vertebra that changed Scott’s life following a spinal cord injury. While that experience helped shape his perspective, T12 is not a story about what was lost. It is a story about what can be built.
Today, The Foundry serves as a gathering place for the T12 community and an introduction to the brand’s next chapter. Long-term plans include transforming historic grain silos in Bondurant into a fully accessible distillery and destination experience that celebrates Iowa agriculture, craftsmanship, and community.
For now, we’re meeting people where they are. One cocktail, one conversation, and one story at a time.
